Firstly let me welcome you to the Alstella Japanese Chin website.
Established in 1953 by Mrs Stella Reeves.
Stella's daughter, Mrs Christine Reeves-Sargant joined the kennel as a partner and they enjoyed breeding and showing for many years together.
A very well structured line was created which is just as solid to this day producing many show winners and champions.
With the sad passing of Stella, Mrs Sam Diment (her grand daughter) joined her mother in the partnership which is what it still is to this day.
We still carefully line breed, not wanting to lose such a well established line, you can always recognise an Alstella chin from their square compact type. One thing we are very proud to say is that our dogs are loved pets first before they are show dogs, running freely in the garden covering themselves in dirt and digging up plants on numerous occasions!!
Alstella are one of the leading show kennels in England, regularly showing black/white, red/white and we are very well known for our strong deep coloured sable and whites.
We do sometimes have puppies or older stock available for sale, please check our for sale page or contact Chris. We only sell to 'forever' homes.
